The two stoner buddies dropped their albums on March 29th, and now the first week sales are finally in. Wiz had a huge buzz going into this album, probably the biggest buzz since Drake. Snoop Dogg is an OG of the game, and wasn’t expected to do crazy numbers. After seeing the numbers, I’m surprised that both sold less albums than I had thought. Going up against one of the biggest pop icons in history, Britney Spears, certainly hurt some of their sales I’m sure, but I’m still a little surprised. Wiz Khalifa’s Rolling Papers finished the week with roughly 191,777 copies sold, while Snoop Dogg only managed to move 49,145 units of Doggumentary. Chris Brown in his second week almost doubles Snoop with 88,396 copies sold. Wiz was good enough to earn the #2 spot behind Britney who moved 278,618 copies, which is too be expected. Snoop landed at the #8 spot, but hopefully he can do better numbers in his second week. To see the entire chart numbers, visit Hits Daily Double.
